Opportunity

As a Self-Managed Support Engineer, you'll support enterprise customers using Airbyte on self-hosted infrastructure or Airbyte Cloud. You’ll triage issues, collaborate with engineers, provide world-class support, and enhance internal documentation and tooling.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver excellent support via email and Zoom to Enterprise customers
• Identify, replicate, and provide workarounds for technical issues
• Participate in automation and internal engineering projects
• Create and maintain internal and external documentation
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize improvements
• Act as a customer advocate within the company

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years in Data Engineering, DevOps, QA, or as a Support Engineer
• Proficiency in:
  • Kubernetes, Helm, Docker
  • Python, SQL, NoSQL
  • Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, and related tools
• Familiarity with:
  • Java, Kotlin
  • CI/CD pipelines, GitHub
  • ELT workflows, Apache Airflow, Dagster
  • Observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working Tue–Sat or Sun–Thu shift
• Growth mindset and collaborative attitude

Base Salary: ₹2.959M – ₹3.5M INR
