Role Overview

As a Cloud Engineer – I, you will join a high-impact Cloud Engineering and SRE team responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure. You will collaborate with developers, SREs, and support teams to ensure platform reliability, uptime, and incident resolution. This role provides early-career engineers with hands-on exposure to production cloud environments, enterprise tools, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications running on AWS and Azure.
• Handle production incidents, alerts, and service requests using ITSM ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice).
• Perform root cause analysis and provide timely resolution for production issues.
• Work with Linux systems, logs, and monitoring tools to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Support networking, application, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during deployments, releases, and incident recovery.
• Maintain clear documentation and standard operating procedures.

Mandatory Requirements

• Education: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Science, or Electronics & Communication.
• Experience: 6 months – 1 year in relevant cloud or operations roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts.
• Experience in application or product support in production environments.
• Knowledge of ITSM / ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, etc.).
• Strong customer support and incident resolution skills.
• Willingness to work in 24×7 rotational shifts.

• Shell / Bash scripting and automation experience.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes workloads.
• Understanding of microservices-based applications and monitoring techniques.
