About the Team

The Information Systems and Cyber Division (ISCD) combines modern cloud computing, containerization, microservices, DevOps, cybersecurity, AI, and software engineering to deliver high-performance, resilient systems for government and space-sector customers.

The Cloud Platforms & Architectures Department focuses on research, rapid prototyping, and next-generation cloud technologies, providing interns with exposure to multiple projects, tools, and customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform software and hardware development for cloud-based rapid prototyping
• Research and experiment with cutting-edge cloud and infrastructure technologies
• Manage Linux systems supporting SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments
• Implement DevOps practices for CI/CD, automation, testing, and deployment
• Work with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud services
• Explore next-generation cloud and SRE technologies for space-domain missions
• Receive structured training and mentorship from cloud and software experts
• Collaborate across enterprise teams on real-world mission-critical projects

Minimum Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time in a Master’s degree program (Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related)
• Undergraduate degree completed before internship start
• Available to work full-time for at least 10 weeks
• Minimum GPA: 3.0
• Software development experience in Python, Java, C/C++, Go, Rust, or similar
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA 3.5 or higher
• Active Security Clearance
• Experience managing Linux systems
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, VMware
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $32.00 – $35.00
• Pay Basis: Hourly
• Compensation based on education, skills, and experience
