Job Description – High CPC Optimized

ADP is hiring an Associate Software Engineer to join their technology team in Chennai. This role involves working in an agile SCRUM environment, contributing to design, development, testing, and documentation of cloud-based HCM (Human Capital Management) solutions.

Ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft .Net technologies, C#, ASP.Net, and knowledge of agile methodologies. Experience with source control (GIT), SQL Server, and automation tools is highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software modules based on system and functional requirements
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architecture team, and stakeholders for quality assurance
• Document code and provide detailed development estimates
• Manage Change Requests, impact analysis, and escalate delivery risks
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the development team

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years experience in software development using Microsoft .Net technologies
• Proficient in C#, Javascript, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Web Services, and WCF
• Solid understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodologies
• Experience with source control tools like GIT or VSS
• Knowledge of SQL Server or other RDBMS
• Exposure to test automation, build automation, and continuous integration tools is a plus
• Strong debugging, analytical, and structured thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in distributed teams
