Acronis - Hiring Corporate Cloud Expert Support Engineer (APAC)

Location: Remote (India/Malaysia)

About the Role

As a Corporate Cloud Expert Support Engineer, you will be the final line of technical support, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring excellence in both technical expertise and customer service. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, Product Management, and other teams to resolve challenging incidents and enhance our Acronis Cyber Protect solution.


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents across software, networking, and hardware environments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Professional Services teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Mentor and train junior team members by sharing technical expertise and best practices.
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge bases, and technical articles on Acronis products.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and technological advancements in Cloud, Storage, Virtualization, and Business Applications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an advanced technical support role.
  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
  • Experience with:
    • Windows Server: Log analysis, application-level troubleshooting with Procmon and Process Explorer.
    • Linux/UNIX: Application management, CLI power user. RedHat/Linux Foundation certifications are a plus.
    • Networking: Traffic analysis with Wireshark, tcpdump, iperf; troubleshooting DHCP, DNS, VPN, HTTP servers. Cisco/Juniper certifications are a plus.
    • Virtualization: Managing and troubleshooting VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, Virtuozzo.
    • Business Applications: Managing and troubleshooting MS Exchange, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, Citrix XenApp, NTP servers.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service focus.
  • Passion for troubleshooting and ability to deliver efficient solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and switch between time-sensitive issues.
