Job Overview

42Gears is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to work closely with development and cloud infrastructure teams, ensuring smooth CI/CD pipelines, reliable deployments, containerized environments, and cloud-native operations.

This role is ideal for freshers and early-career engineers looking to build expertise in DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS & GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, and automation tools while working on enterprise-scale SaaS products.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between development teams and cloud/infrastructure teams
• Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasks to reduce manual effort
• Assist in managing Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters
• Ensure infrastructure readiness for new application releases
• Monitor applications and systems to identify performance and reliability issues
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot deployment and production issues
• Maintain clear documentation for automation scripts, CI/CD workflows, and operational processes
• Continuously learn and adopt modern DevOps tools, cloud services, and best practices

• Understanding of DevOps principles and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on exposure to CI/CD tools:

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration:

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms:
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
